The Basque rock band Bulego is becoming a defining name in Basque pop, reaching new heights over the past few years. The band is headed for the U.S. next week, hitting cities with Basque communities like San Francisco and Boise, Idaho, marking a pivotal step toward global audiences.
Their recent tour, Aldatu Aurretik Tour, was their most successful yet, expanding their fan base across Europe with first-time shows in Brussels, Lisbon, and Paris, as well as major performances in Spain. Bulego’s music has resonated strongly on Basque radio, with several tracks reaching the top spot on Basque radio station Gaztea’s charts. Their unique approach —- combining Basque language pop with accessible, modern sounds — has attracted press coverage highlighting their innovative, intergenerational appeal.
The band hopes for greater momentum in 2025, with several performances set for their USA tour, which the band considers one of their most important career moments.
Bulego will be playing their full band electric set at the Basque Cultural Center on Saturday, March 22nd, and will also perform in San Francisco a few days earlier at the Hotel Utah. Bulego will perform an acoustic set on March 21st at the Kern County Basque Club in Bakersfield and on March 23rd at the Chino Basque Club. Bulego then travels to Idaho to perform their full band electric set at the Tree Fort Music Fest in Boise, first on March 26th at Boise Brewing and then on March 27th at the Basque Center.
