My mother was the first American waitress there was at the restaurant and worked there from 1962 until 1969 when we moved out of state. My mom was a single parent and I spent almost every day in the kitchen or banquet room. I loved the Saturday night barbecues and would dance the night away being just 14 when we moved. I have such fond memories of Danielle and Pampi.
So nice to hear the stories. Danielle and Pampi were my cousins (both have passed away) and it’s great to know they created lasting memories for so many locals.
