Basque festival season moves to Nevada this weekend when the Lagun Onak Las Vegas Basque Club holds its 31st annual picnic.
The festival well be held at the picturesque Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, about 20 miles from Las Vegas. The event begins with mass at 11 a.m. and will feature paella, lamb, chorizo and salad for lunch.
The Gauden Bat dancers from Chino will perform traditional Basque dances.
